Before & After

Results from patients who travelled to Istanbul with us, by treatment, with the time point and technique stated for every case.

How to read a before-and-after photograph

None of the following is faking. All of it is routine, and all of it moves an apparent result more than you would expect.

What changes between the two images
VariableIn the "before"In the "after"
LightingOverhead, which deepens every shadowFlat and frontal, which erases them
PostureChin down and forwardChin level or slightly raised
Camera distanceClose, which exaggerates featuresA step back, which flattens them
HairWet, flat or pulled backDry, styled, often shorter
ExpressionNeutral or tiredA slight smile, which lifts the mid-face
Weight and clothingRarely statedFrequently a few kilograms lighter

What a trustworthy comparison has

  1. Identical lighting, distance, lens, background and expression.
  2. The same hair state in both — and for hair transplants, ideally shown both wet and dry.
  3. A stated time point, and ideally a series rather than a single pair.
  4. Multiple angles, including the ones where results are weakest: the crown for hair, the profile for a nose.
  5. The relevant numbers stated — graft count and Norwood stage, implant volume, unit count, weight.
  6. At least one case the surgeon describes as average rather than their best.

Apply this to every clinic you are considering, including the ones whose photographs convinced you. If a gallery cannot survive six questions, the gallery was the product rather than the surgery.

When there is actually a result to look at

Almost all unnecessary distress after treatment comes from assessing an outcome that does not exist yet.

Results: frequently asked questions

Yes — during the free consultation, before any deposit. They are chosen to match your starting point rather than to impress, which makes them considerably more useful.

Check for identical lighting, distance, lens and expression; the same hair state in both; a stated time point; multiple angles including the weak ones; and the relevant numbers. Wet "before", dry styled "after" is the oldest trick there is.

It depends on the treatment: 12–18 months for a hair transplant or rhinoplasty, 6–12 for most surgery, 2–4 weeks for dental work, 18–24 months for bariatric surgery.

Because swelling exaggerates everything, and for hair transplants weeks two to six are the shedding phase. Both are expected, both pass, and both cause more worry than any genuine complication.

Where a former patient has volunteered and matches your case, yes. We introduce you and then stay out of it — no listening in, no briefing, and nobody is paid or discounted for speaking to you.

No. A patient filmed three days after surgery is describing hospitality and relief, not a result that does not exist yet. Our video testimonials page explains the reasoning in full.

No, and nobody honest does. Outcomes vary between people having identical procedures because tissue, healing and anatomy vary. What your quote does guarantee is the complications policy, in writing, before you pay.

Yes, and it genuinely helps — it shows the surgeon what you are asking for. What it cannot do is transfer someone else’s anatomy onto yours.

Not without separate, specific written consent naming the use, and consent to treatment is never conditional on it. If you give consent and later change your mind, we remove them from everything we control.

The same angles each time, in daylight, no flash, no filters and no beauty mode — most phones smooth skin by default. Same distance, plain background. It is the only way to see your own progress accurately.

Send photographs; the treating surgeon reviews them and the medical board can give an opinion independent of them. You get a written assessment, and your quote determines what revision is covered.
