What is in every package
Whatever the treatment, the package covers the same categories: the clinical work, the facility, your stay, your transport and your aftercare.
- Surgeon, dentist and anaesthetist fees
- Hospital or clinic charges for the full stay
- All pre-operative blood tests and imaging
- Implants, grafts, materials and medication
- Hotel for every night your treatment requires
- Airport, hotel and hospital transfers throughout
- A personal English-speaking coordinator
- Post-operative garments, dressings and medication
- A follow-up appointment before you fly home
- Twelve months of structured remote aftercare
The hotel nights in a package are the nights your treatment clinically requires, not a minimum designed to look attractive. A gastric sleeve package includes seven nights because a staple line leak appears between days three and seven; a hair transplant includes three because that is what the procedure and first wash need. Each treatment page states the stay and the reason for it.
Prices by treatment, 2026
All-inclusive package prices in pounds sterling. Ranges exist because the right plan varies between patients, and a written quote follows a free clinical assessment.

What is never included
Five things, every time. We list them here rather than in the small print.
- Flights. Bundling them means you fly on our schedule, from our choice of airport, at our fare. Booking your own is almost always cheaper and far more flexible.
- Travel insurance that covers elective surgery abroad. Standard travel policies exclude it, so you need a specific one. Budget roughly £60–£150.
- Meals beyond hotel breakfast.
- Treatment for a pre-existing condition found during your work-up — an infected root, untreated gum disease, a condition identified on your hormone screen.
- Revision surgery, which is quoted separately. The aftercare terms in your written quote set out what is covered where a complication relates to the original surgery.
Payment, deposits and what happens if you cancel
A deposit secures your dates and your surgeon; the balance is settled before discharge. The schedule is set out in writing with your quote.
- No deposit is taken before a clinician has assessed your case and you have a written quote. If we have not assessed you, we do not want your money.
- The deposit secures your dates and reserves your surgeon. It is a proportion of the total, stated in your quote.
- The balance is due before you are discharged, not on arrival. You are never asked to pay more before treatment than was agreed in writing.
- Cancellation: terms are set out in your quote before you pay. Give us as much notice as you can and we will do what we reasonably can.
- Rescheduling: free where you give reasonable notice. Illness, a positive pre-operative test or a change in your circumstances are handled sensibly.
- We do not offer finance ourselves, and we will say so rather than let you assume otherwise.
Why a quote can change — and when it cannot
A quote changes only when an investigation finds something a photograph could not show, and only with your written agreement before anything proceeds.
This is the single most common complaint in medical travel, so it deserves a direct answer. There are legitimate reasons a plan changes after you arrive, and there are illegitimate ones. The difference is whether you are told before treatment begins or presented with a bill afterwards.
Legitimate reasons
- A panoramic X-ray or CBCT scan shows decay, infection or insufficient bone that photographs could not reveal.
- An endoscopy before bariatric surgery finds a hiatus hernia that should be repaired.
- A hormone screen before gynecomastia surgery shows something that needs investigating.
- Your donor density turns out to be lower than photographs suggested, changing the graft plan.
What happens when it does
- You are told before anything proceeds — not afterwards.
- The revised plan and price are given to you in writing.
- You can decline, and go home without treatment.
- Any deposit position is set out in your original terms rather than invented at that moment.

Packages and pricing: frequently asked questions
Everything except flights, travel insurance, meals beyond breakfast, treatment of a pre-existing condition found during your work-up, and revision surgery. Those five exclusions are listed on this page rather than in small print.
Because bundling them means you fly on our schedule, from our airport, at our fare. Booking your own is almost always cheaper and far more flexible. Our cost calculator adds a realistic flight estimate so you can still see the true total.
Longer stays set by clinical need, JCI-accredited hospitals, named surgeons who perform the parts that determine the result, and twelve months of structured aftercare. The cheapest packages save money on exactly those things.
Only if an investigation finds something a photograph could not show, and only with your written agreement before anything proceeds. You can decline and go home. Treatment is never started and billed afterwards.
Because the right plan varies between patients — implant size, graft count, number of units, whether a lift is needed. A written quote with a single fixed figure follows a free clinical assessment.
No. Packages include a twin room, so a companion stays with you throughout at no extra charge for accommodation or transfers. They book their own flight and pay for their own meals.
A proportion of the total, stated in your written quote, and never before a clinician has assessed your case. The balance is settled before discharge rather than on arrival.
We do not offer finance ourselves. The payment schedule — deposit and balance — is set out in writing with your quote, and we would rather tell you plainly than let you assume otherwise.
Terms are in your quote before you pay. Rescheduling with reasonable notice is free, and illness or a positive pre-operative test is handled sensibly. Give us as much notice as you can.
Where a complication relates directly to the original surgery, the aftercare terms in your written quote set out what Valentmedica covers, including flights and hospital costs in defined circumstances. Revision because you have changed your mind is quoted separately.
Typically 50–70% less for surgery and 70–85% less for dental work, before flights. Our cost and savings calculator compares 18 treatments against nine countries and adds realistic flights, using the top of our range against the bottom of local pricing — deliberately conservative.
Occasionally. Breast reduction and eyelid surgery affecting vision are both funded on medical grounds in some health systems where criteria are met. Ask your GP before paying privately anywhere — we would rather you got it free at home.
