How to reach us
Four channels, all reaching the same team. Pick whichever you are most comfortable with.
| Channel | Details | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Telephone | +90 000 000 00 00 | Talking it through, and anything urgent |
| Same number | Sending photographs, and messaging across time zones | |
| Via the form on this page | Detailed questions, and keeping a written record | |
| Secure upload | Link on request | Photographs and records if you would rather not use WhatsApp |
| Aftercare line | Given to you on discharge | Existing patients, for the full twelve months |
Which to use
- Starting an enquiry: the form on this page, or WhatsApp if you want to send photographs straight away.
- You have had treatment with us and something is wrong: the aftercare number. If it is urgent — heavy bleeding, breathlessness, chest pain, a hot swollen calf — contact local emergency services first and tell us afterwards.
- You would rather not use a messaging app: ask for a secure upload link. Nobody will push you back onto WhatsApp.
- Press, partnership or institutional enquiry: the form, saying which it is, and it goes to the right person rather than into the patient queue.
- A complaint: the form or the phone. It is acknowledged within 2 working days and answered within 14, by a clinician rather than a coordinator if it is clinical.
When you will hear back
Stated as commitments. If we miss one, say so — we would rather know.
| You sent | First reply | Full answer |
|---|---|---|
| A new enquiry, working day | Within a few hours | Clinical opinion in 24–48 hours |
| A new enquiry, Sunday or a public holiday | Next working day | Clinical opinion in 24–48 hours after that |
| A revision or complex medical history | Same working day | 3–5 working days, after medical board review |
| A question from an existing patient | Same working day | Same or next day, escalated to the clinician if clinical |
| An urgent aftercare concern | Immediately on the aftercare line | Clinician contact the same day |
| A complaint | Within 2 working days | Within 14 working days |
| Press or partnership | Within 2 working days | Depends on what you asked |
What we will not do
- Send you a price before a clinician has reviewed your case.
- Enrol you in a follow-up sequence, or keep messaging after you have gone quiet.
- Send a discount that expires, or tell you a slot is about to go.
- Pass your details to another company, a call centre, or a "patient matching" service.
- Contact you first through social media offering treatment. We respond; we do not approach.
Office, hours and getting here
We are a medical travel company rather than a clinic, so the office is where the coordination happens — treatment is in the partner hospitals.
| Day | Patient team | Aftercare line |
|---|---|---|
| Monday – Friday | 09:00 – 19:00 | 24 hours for existing patients |
| Saturday | 10:00 – 16:00 | 24 hours for existing patients |
| Sunday | Messages answered next working day | 24 hours for existing patients |
| Public holidays | Reduced, messages answered next working day | 24 hours for existing patients |
Time zones
Istanbul is GMT+3 all year, with no daylight saving. That makes us 2 hours ahead of the UK in winter and 3 in summer, 1–2 hours ahead of central Europe, and 8 hours ahead of New York. If you would rather be called at a specific time in your own zone, say so in your message and we will.
Visiting
You are welcome to come to the office, and existing patients often do before a procedure. Let us know in advance so the person handling your case is there rather than at a hospital. If you want to see a partner facility before deciding, ask — we can usually arrange it, and a provider unwilling to let you look around is worth a second thought.
If you are already in Istanbul
Transfers between the hotel, the hospital and the office are arranged for patients as part of the package. If you are here independently and want to talk to someone in person, call first rather than arriving unannounced — the team is frequently at the hospitals.
Checking that a message really is from us
Impersonation is a genuine problem in medical travel. It costs nothing to check, so check.
Operators set up accounts using established companies’ names, photographs and patient results, take deposits and disappear. The patients are high-value, often anxious, and frequently communicating with strangers on messaging apps — which is exactly the combination that attracts it.
Valentmedica will never
- Ask for a deposit before a clinician has assessed your case and you have a written quote.
- Ask for cryptocurrency, gift cards, money transfer services or payment to a personal bank account.
- Pressure you to decide within hours, or offer a discount that expires today.
- Refuse to give you the surgeon’s name and registration number before payment.
- Message you first on social media offering treatment.
- Ask for passport or financial details through an unsecured channel.
How to check
- Compare the number with the one published here: +90 000 000 00 00.
- Check the website address character by character. Impersonators use close variants with extra words or different endings.
- Ask for our company registration and health tourism authorisation numbers, and check them.
- Ask for the surgeon’s name and Ministry of Health registration number, and verify it independently.
- If anything is inconsistent, stop — and contact us through the details on this site rather than through the channel that approached you.
Contact: frequently asked questions
Phone or WhatsApp on +90 000 000 00 00 during working hours. The form on this page reaches the same team and is better if you want a written record or are sending a lot of detail.
Within a few hours on a working day, next working day if you write on a Sunday or public holiday. A clinical opinion follows in 24–48 hours, or 3–5 working days for a revision or complex history.
No. Ask for a secure upload link and we will send one. Nobody will push you back onto a channel you are not comfortable with.
The aftercare number you were given on discharge, which is live for twelve months. If it is urgent — heavy bleeding, breathlessness, chest pain, a hot swollen calf — contact local emergency services first and tell us afterwards.
Istanbul, GMT+3 all year with no daylight saving: 2 hours ahead of the UK in winter and 3 in summer, 8 ahead of New York. Tell us a time that suits you and we will call then.
Yes, and existing patients often do before a procedure. Let us know in advance so the person handling your case is there rather than at a hospital.
Usually, if you ask. A provider unwilling to let you look at the facility they want to treat you in is telling you something worth hearing.
English and Turkish as standard, with qualified interpretation in other languages on request. For consent discussions we use a professional interpreter rather than a coordinator.
We will answer your questions for as long as you have them. We will not enrol you in a follow-up sequence, send expiring discounts, or tell you a slot is about to go.
Check the number against the one published here and the website address character by character. We never initiate contact offering treatment, and never ask for crypto, gift cards or payment to a personal account.
Phone or the form. Acknowledged within 2 working days, answered within 14, and by a clinician rather than a coordinator if it is clinical. You may also complain to the Turkish Ministry of Health.
The form on this page, saying which it is — it goes to the right person rather than into the patient queue. Our partnerships and corporate identity pages answer most of the common questions already.
